Future Development Plans Supported by LPA
Form Properties have received a positive pre-application planning enquiry response for the development of four highly sustainable three- and four-bedroom family homes on the Northumberland coastline.
Designed by the North East-based RIBA award winning Elliott Architects, this boutique development uses a mixed palate of natural materials including local sandstone, weathered timber cladding and zinc roofing that allows the development to sit sensitively within its environment. The development steps from a two-storey property near the public highway, to a collection of single-storey properties with views across the adjacent farmland. Carefully selected planting of native species will help enrich the local wildlife.
Michael Foster-Smith, Director of Form Properties, said “We’re pleased that the Local Planning Authority agree that the principle of development on this edge of settlement site is acceptable, and we look forward to bringing forward a full planning application in the next few months. Working with talented local architects with design at the heart of all our developments will ensure that our plans for this site are respectful of the unique environment in which it sits.”
